Soil as an open natural system and influential on the environment is a nonrenewable source that can be easily destroyed, and because of the significance of this valuable natural source, it is essential to detect ways to secure and protect it. This source may be eroded by various activities such as water, wind, and ice. Erosion in mountainous and agricultural areas is the main source of the carriage of sediments of hydrological fields. Soil erosion can lead to a reduction in products and to infertility and also destruction of soil texture. One of the influential factors of these effects is drought. It is even possible to promote the ability of its production if these sources are well managed through logical approaches. The rate of impact of drought on erosion and sedimentation depends on the duration of the drought, and there are various factors affecting this phenomenon. For example, a reduction in rainfall causes a decrease in the level of water resources that also affects sedimentation. There are many reasons why we need to investigate the importance of the effect of low flow on sedimentation and its side effects. © 2016 by Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.en
