This paper examines the structure of activities motives and satisfaction relating to visits to the Antonis Tritsis park located in metropolitan Athens. Structural Equation Modeling (hereafter SEM) is used to estimate how individual structures are related to each other. Our research methodology was developed in two steps. In the first step, factor analysis was used in order to extract the factors which led to visits to the park. In the second step, SEM was applied to identify the relationships between activities, motivations and visit satisfaction of visitors. The results showed that latent variables are related to specific activities during a visit to the park. The search for relaxation and experience of nature positively affects the degree of satisfaction. However, the search for educational and cultural activities as well as activities for children, do not significantly affect visitor satisfaction. © 2021 Economic Society of Australia, Queenslanden
