Abstract
The aim of the current study is the development and the evaluation of a fully automated controller based on fuzzy logic for the control of the charging time of Electric Vehicles (EVs) based on user's preferences and the amount of congestion on the grid. This is paramount for the stability and the safety of the electricity infrastructure due to the excessive load that is introduced with the advent of EVs and the rapidly growing demand for electricity in the modern society. All the simulations and the experiments have been contacted using the GridLAB-D simulation platform. ©2018 IEEE
