The main target of the PEMFC's scientific community is to reduce the total Pt loading to ca. 150 g cm-2 MEA, maintaining simultaneously high PEMFCs performances. The last years, promising results have also been reported concerning the design, fabrication, characterization and testing of novel Pt-free anodes and cathodes for H2-PEMFCs applications. The present work aims at providing the state-of-the-art of the most efficient low-Pt and Pt-free electrocatalysts for H2-PEMFC. Copyright © 2013 Delta Energy and Environment.en
