Abstract
The problem of rejecting atmospheric disturbances with simultaneous input-output decoupling of the pitch angle and the flight path angle of an aircraft, is studied. The problem is proven to be solvable for almost all flight conditions via static state controllers. All static controllers solving the problem are explicitly characterized. Stability requirements are fulfilled. The present results are illustrated via simulation.
