Der Aufsatz enthalt kurze Bemerkungen zu einigen Skulpturen im Piraeus -
Museum : (I) Inv. Nr. 1169. Eine Kopie der Nymphe aus der bekannten Gruppe
« Aufforderung zum Tanz » wird zum erstenmal abgebildet. Sie stammt vielleicht
aus der Mitte des 2. Jhd. n. Chr. Zu ihr gehort ein Fragment im Museumsmagazin
( Inv. Nr. 1362 ), das den rechten Bein von der Mitte der Wade abwarts und einen
Teil der Plinthe bewahrt; es ist jetzt der Nymphe angefugt worden. (II) Die Statue
eines Madchens Inv. Nr. 291 ist dem Motiv und Stil nach eine Grabstatue aus einem
Naiskos und gehort dem letzten Viertel des 4. Jhd. v. Chr. an. (Ill) Das kleine
Weihrelief des Zeus Meilichios, Inv. Nr. 3, zeigt einen seltenen ikonographischen
Typus des Gottes; dem entsprechend wird der Gott, der auf einem fragmentarischen
Weihrelief in Berlin dargestellt ist, auch als Zeus Meilichios interpretiert. (IV) Die
Inschrift IG II /III2 3, 2, 7441 auf einer Grabstele (Inv. Nr. 1160 ) vom Ende des
2. Jhd. n. Chr. wird richtig als Άμμία ( statt Λαμία ) gelesen. (V) Auf T a f. 64a ist eine
aus zwei Stiicken zusammengesetzte Grabstele abgebildet ( Inv. Nr. 346), von der
friiher nur ihr Oberteil bekannt war. (VI) Das fragmeritarische, aus zwei Bruchstiicken
zusammengefiigte Grabrelief Nr. 1877 zeigt einen auf einem Stuhl sitzenden
Jtingling. Die Stele ist deshalb bemerkenswert, weil dieses Motiv sehr selten
auf attischen Grabreliefs erscheint.
