| dc.description.abstract | In this work we study reliability structures with two common failure criteria under specific age-based preventive maintenance models. The aforementioned systems, which consist of n independent components, fail upon the occurrence of two different scenarios. The theoretical framework for delivering the expected cost rate of such structures is presented in detail, while a variety of numerical outcomes for different choices of the design parameters are also provided and discussed. © 2021 Reliability: Theory and Applications.
