dc.description.abstract | Mobile crowd sensing enables users to collaborate in terms of data collection. In practice, end users collect data through their smart devices and then share it with other users, who .nd it useful. A data request consists of speci.c parameters such as location, time or type of data. It is published and users that can ful.ll this request send corresponding data, by mainly using their smart-phone as sensing device. While this approach is an interesting alternative when it comes to data collection, it creates a signi.cant privacy concern. In this paper a privacy preserving platform for pro.table mobile crowd sensing is presented. Data encryption and bitcoin payments are employed to protect users' privacy. In order to research the users' adoption of such a solution, a survey has been conducted and the results are analyzed. | en |
