This research examines trade flows for Feta cheese, where sheep's milk is the primary component. The findings of the gravity model demonstrate the significance of trade flows for Greek Feta worldwide, including the trading potential of Feta cheese, taking into account a positive outcome on the judicial and political level for Feta in the WTO negotiations. The results of the gravity model provide essential information for policy recommendations which follow, in order to provide viable solutions to the obstacles the sector faces. The suggested policy recommendations are focused on increasing the competitiveness of the sector and on providing it with all the essential quality and safety reassurances needed in a highly competitive market environment.en
