dc.description.abstract | Evaluation and modelling of bearing curves and bearing ratio parameters are of great importance in surface characterization and tribological functioning of engineering surfaces. The present investigation is focused upon the correlation of bearing ratio characteristics in the turning of steel with cutting conditions varying in a wide and representative range and formulation of models of bearing curves through Beta and Pearson statistical systems.
