dc.description.abstract | Specific ancillary instruments have been developed to facilitate the positioning of the 4 sockets necessary when performing anatomic double-bundle ACL reconstruction (2B-ACLR). This technical note describes both the rationale and the step-by-step way to use the specific aimers developed for this purpose. Validation of tunnel position with reference to the native ACL footprint is presented. A prerequisite for successful 2B-ACLR is a good knowledge of ACL footprint anatomy.
