Lines as Ideas and structure elements for preschool children's plastic art works

In early childhood education children many times feel helpless because they don't know what to do or how to start an artistic creation. Also, in order to characterize a creation as creative has to include a new element, something new that child discovers or creates and is accepted from the others as a surprise. Lines as artistic structural elements hide many ideas or can be used as components for the structure of plastic art works. In the presented study we realized an educational intervention which included a series of educational activities. Various lines used as a material, in order to investigate how lines help children's ideas to come out and they motivate children's artistic expression. © Common Ground, Apostolos Magouliotis, All Rights Reserved.
