Multimedia content delivery is an important issue in assistive guidance systems for exhibition areas. This paper presents an automatic guidance and multimedia content presentation system utilizing location-based services and their deployment on mobile devices. A prototype installation and experimental usage in a real exhibition environment has provided promising results regarding the system's user acceptance and functionality. Copyright 2008 ACM.
