Mapping economic crisis in south Europe: Greece, Portugal and Cyprus

Abstract

The European crisis has been a subject of deep research for the past decade due to the extreme situations it has created in some countries. In this paper, we examine three of the countries that affected by the crisis: Greece, Portugal and Cyprus. The purpose of the paper is to try to understand the reasons some of these countries succeeded in overcoming the difficulties and the problems caused by the crisis while others could not find solutions easily. © 2018 Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Marii Curie-Sklodowskiej w Lublinie.
