Remembering Diaspora, Forgetting the Global? Emerging Cosmopolitics in Contemporary Greece

Abstract

Mobility constitutes' a normative characteristic of the tradition v and the historical development of the region of Modern Greece. Revisiting the history of nation, not in its' own terms, mu in the terms of globality, and pH using on issues related to migration and diaspora, highlight die role that mobility awl stasis play in the constitution of the social and the political in contemporary Greece. They also highlight some of the regional emergences of globality and of the conflict, crisis and expectations that these emergences provoke.
